Excess sugar in the body greatly contributes to build up of fat around the belly area. If you are looking to lose this fat, then stay clear of sugar. Ensure also you limit your intake of junk food and soft drinks. They contain loads of added sugar (which equates to lots of calories) that is later converted into fat around the liver and belly. The result is insulin resistance in the body and a number of other metabolic problems. In no time, conditions such as obesity and diabetes start to knock and you wonder why. It doesn’t mean that you should give up on these treats entirely rather moderation is crucial.
